Who We Are
Human Development Organization (HDO) is a non-government voluntary development organization, established in 1996 in the hilly region of Comilla, Bangladesh. It improves the socioeconomic, cultural and environmental conditions of the rural poor and disadvantaged women by organizing them and enabling them to undertake income generating activities and development programs.
What We Do
Seven core programs, from education to disaster resilience, for the rural poor of the Lalmai hills.

Where We Work
In the remote Lalmai hilly area of Comilla Sadar South Upazila and in Laksham Upazila, Comilla district — one of the hilly, remote regions of Bangladesh.
